Bill Newby is an “everyday writer” using poetry to record and explore moments of celebration, Bill complaint, concern and comedy. Barbara Sabol is the author of six poetry collections. Her third full-length book, WATERMARK: Poems of the Great Johnstown Flood of 1889, was published by Alternating Current Press in 2023. She won the Sheila-Na-Gig poetry contest for her book, IMAGINE A TOWN, in 2019 and went on to become the associate editor of Sheila-Na-Gig online. Barbara conducts poetry workshops through Literary Cleveland and the Cuyahoga Falls Library. Her honors include an Individual Excellence Award from the Ohio Arts Council and the 2024 Ohio Poet of the Year award. Barbara lives in Akron, Ohio with her husband and wonder dog.
