Ray McNiece has authored eleven books of poems and monologues and CD’s. He fronts the improv band Tongue-in-Groove. He was the 10th Poet Laureate of Cleveland. He has received several awards and grants including the Cleveland Arts Prize Lifetime Achievement Award. His most recent book, The Bone Key Sutra, (SeaStory Press 2025) is a collection of Haiban, Haiku, Poems, Song Lyrics and Essays.
Clarissa Jakobsons, poet, artist, instructor, twice featured in Paris at The Shakespeare and Co. Bookstore, won First Place at the Akron Art Institute New Words Competition. Darling from “Baltic” Amber in a Chest” received a Pushcart nomination. She writes, Don’t be surprised to see my inner artist kicking sandcastles, climbing Mount Diablo, painting Provincetown dunes, or walking under an Ohio crescent moon
