Produced by Butch Walker (Taylor Swift\, Green Day\, Weezer) and recorded at his Nashville studio\, Kiah’s second full-length for Rounder Records merges her revelatory storytelling with a darkly cinematic twist on the rootsy alt-rock of her 2021 breakthrough Wary + Strange—an LP that landed on Rolling Stone’s list of the 25 Best Country and Americana Albums of 2021 and drew acclaim from major outlets like Pitchfork. Rooted firmly in the old tunes\, their performances are marked by energy\, humor\, and a genuine love of both the music and the people who come to hear it. \nIn 2018 the band released Everyone In\, earning the title of “Best Irish American Band of the Year.” In 2024 they followed with a double-disc recording celebrating two decades of making music together — a heartfelt reflection of the friendships and shared history that define their sound. \nThe group features Ohio brothers John and Daniel McKewen\, father and son Phil and Josh Franck\, and lifelong friend Bryan Brookes. DESCRIPTION:February 26th – Jerron Paxton and Dennis Lichtman  \nJerron Paxton and Dennis Lichtman– multi-instrumentalists and vocalists whose formal musical partnership began with a video shoot\, Just Cross the River From Queens\, at the Louis Armstrong House Museum in 2017. Paxton and Lichtman recently released their first full-length duo recording. The duo were Artists-In-Residence at NYC’s Symphony Space for the 2024-25 season and have toured the US and internationally together since 2019. \nSmithsonian Folkways recording artist Paxton presents Black folk music from nearly all the idioms that entails: stride piano jazz from New Orleans to New York; deep blues on guitar and harmonica; rural music from the beginnings of Black arrival in America played on fiddle and\nbanjo; ragtime; and other turn-of-the-century-music that gives the full breadth of pre-WWII Black music without lecturing\, but rather inviting you to enjoy that music as it was given to him. Paxton transports his audiences not to a time\, but to a state of mind that allows them to enjoy and internalize Black folk music\, as has been the American experience for centuries. \nLichtman is a world-traveling bandleader who is best known for running the famed trad-jazz jam sessions at Mona’s Bar in New York City since 2007\, which was described in the Wall Street Journal as “ground zero for an emerging late-night scene of young traditional jazz and swing players.” He is a masterful multi-instrumentalist (clarinet\, mandolin\, violin\, and more) who has toured and recorded with David Byrne\, The Lovestruck Balladeers\, Pokey LaFarge\, Ghost Train Orchestra\, Jim Kweskin\, and his own projects: The Brain Cloud\, Mona’s Hot Four\,\nand his newest all-original album Secret Workshop. \nPaxton and Lichtman’s mutual love of the history\, stories\, and significance behind the music they play is apparent as they romp through an energetic and engaging set of acoustic blues\, ragtime\, Tin Pan Alley pop songs\, 1920s jazz\, twin fiddle hoe-downs\, and original songs and compositions. \nGeneral Admission :25.00\nJoin us in the bar area before the show at 7pm\nConcert Hall doors open at 7:30pm\nMusic at 8pm

Raised in Northern California and steeped in string camps from an early age\, she shaped her signature sound under the mentorship of Bruce Molsky and Darol Anger. By fourteen she was touring with Anger’s Republic of Strings\, and at seventeen released her self-titled debut album. \nWhile earning a degree in Evolutionary Biology at Princeton\, Haas joined the groundbreaking band Crooked Still\, launching a career that has since taken her to stages from Late Night with David Letterman and Saturday Night Live with Steve Martin’s bluegrass band to recordings with Béla Fleck\, Vince Gill\, Abigail Washburn\, Tony Trischka\, Yonder Mountain String Band\, and many more. She is the newest member of the Grammy-winning Punch Brothers\, has toured with Dave Rawlings Machine\, and in 2023 released the long-awaited duo album HAAS with her cellist sister Natalie. Named Americana Music Association Instrumentalist of the Year in 2020\, Brittany continues to inspire the next generation through her electrifying performances and teaching. \nOne of Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch\,” Nic Gareiss is a singular voice in percussive dance\, blending traditions from Ireland\, Canada\, and Appalachia into a thrilling\, deeply musical style. Growing up surrounded by fiddlers\, banjo players\, and balladeers at Midwest folk festivals\, Nic developed an approach rooted in clog\, flatfoot\, and step dance — rich in improvisation and intimate musical collaboration. \nGareiss has performed in seventeen countries with artists including Yasmin Williams\, Bruce Molsky\, The Chieftains\, Colin Dunne\, Darol Anger\, The Gloaming\, Jake Blount\, Liz Carroll\, Phil Wiggins\, and Sandy Silva\, with appearances at the Barbican Centre\, Irish National Concert Hall\, Munich Philharmonic\, Brooklyn Academy of Music\, and Cork Opera House. DESCRIPTION:April 16th – Caleb Klauder and Reeb Willms \nNo Depression SPOTLIGHT: Caleb Klauder & Reeb Willms Put ‘Gold in Your Pocket’ with Love and Collective Joy \nBY MAE FERGUSON \nBefore he ever saw her\, Caleb Klauder heard Reeb Willms sing. It was some decade and change ago at a music festival in Idaho\, and Klauder had ventured off from a jam session for a drink. Behind him\, he heard an incredible voice that compelled him to turn around and see where it was coming from. Their meeting more than 500 miles away from home in Idaho\, you might say\, was kismet. \nBeyond their shared love of playing music\, both originally hail from Washington—she from the dry high desert\, east of the Cascade Mountains\, he from the dank forests and maritime shores of the San Juan Islands in the west. The two began collaborating not long after that fateful night\, and Willms joined Klauder in his adopted city of Portland\, OR\, as a member of his longtime local outfit Foghorn Stringband and in a home the two shared together (until a couple years ago when they relocated to Orcas Island\, near Klauder’s hometown). Her timeless\, pure vocals and acoustic guitar picking fit right in with the old-time string band dedicated to traditional music. \nWillms and Klauder also found their sweet spot together as a duo and with Klauder’s long-running backburner project\, a country band where he experiments with playing his original songs. DESCRIPTION:April 26th- The New Soft Shoe – A Cleveland band that pays tribute to alt-country icon Gram Parsons by playing covers of the songs he wrote with groups such as Flying Burrito Brothers and the Byrds\, was formed in 2010. Parsons famously pioneered what he called Cosmic American Music in the late 1960s and early 1970s and influenced acts such as the Rolling Stones\, the Eagles\, Tom Petty\, Emmylou Harris\, Wilco and Ryan Adams. \nFifteen years after their first gig\, the band — Brent Kirby on guitar\, Andy Leach on guitar\, Tom Prebish on bass\, Rachel Brown on keyboards and Jon Niefeld on drums recently released their first album by putting their own twist on Parson’s songs. \nJoin us for a night of All Gram\, All night. \nGeneral Admission – 20.00\nBar area opens at 7pm\nDoors open at 7:30pm\nMusic at 8pm

DESCRIPTION:April 18th – Max Wareham is a banjo player\, songwriter\, and author from Boston\, MA. A longtime member of the Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band\, Wareham has toured nationally with the group and appears on Rowan’s Grammy-nominated album Calling You From My Mountain. \nDrawing on traditional bluegrass and lo-fi indie folk\, Wareham’s live performances move from intimate storytelling to explosive ensemble moments\, anchored throughout by the banjo. \nWareham released his debut album\, Daggomit! (2025)\, following two years on the road with Rowan. Recorded by multi-Grammy-winning engineer Sean Sullivan\, the record features collaborations with Chris Eldridge\, David Grier\, Laura Orshaw\, Chris Henry\, Mike Bub\, and Larry Atamanuik\, with Rowan appearing as guest singer and producer. \nBeyond performance\, Wareham is also an historian of the instrument.
