DESCRIPTION:November 6th- Country Honk with special guest Mike Stinson \nCountry Honk is a Cleveland-based four-piece playing classic country\, honky tonk\, and country rock with a sound rooted in the ’60s and ’70s. Drawing from artists like Hank Williams\, Buck Owens\, Merle Haggard\, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings\, the band puts its own spin on the music they love. \nCountry Honk features Thomas “Preb” Prebish on bass and vocals\, Anthony Papaleo on electric guitar\, steel\, fiddle\, and vocals\, Thor Platter on guitar and vocals\, and Fred Perez-Stable on drums and percussion. The band released Bad Decision in 2025\, has performed at Nashville’s AMERICANAFEST\, and is currently working on a new record for release in 2027. \nMike Stinson is a Texas-based singer-songwriter whose music draws from classic country\, honky tonk\, and roots rock. His sharp songwriting and distinctive style have earned him a dedicated following\, with songs featured in television shows including Mad Men\, Cold Case\, and Weeds. \nStinson’s song “Late Great Golden State” was recorded by Dwight Yoakam and included on Yoakam’s 2003 album Population Me. Whether the Upstate New York folk rock group—which today also includes violinist Claire Byrne\, bassist Joey Arcuri\, and drummer Sam Fishman—are converting new fans on a hardscrabble tour across the country or playing to a devoted crowd at hero Levon Helm’s Woodstock barn\, the band’s shapeshifting approach to folk music continues to break new ground. \n“Driftwood is basically a beautiful friendship that happens to play music together\,” says Joe. “I know it’s rare.
